New Immigration Court opened in Pearsall, Texas

The EOIR announced today that it is opening a new Immigration Court in Pearsall, Texas. It is located at the South Texas Detention Facility in Pearsall.

In the past removal proceedings for those detained in Pearsall were conducted via video feed with an Immigration Judge and Trial Attorney in San Antonio. The proceedings will now be conducted in the Pearsall court. This week San Antonio IJs, Glenn McPhaul and John Carte will be hearing the court's docket in Pearsall.
