My clients who filed Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival requests have started receiving approvals and Employment Authorization cards.
So what is next (after the celebration)?
(1) Apply for a Social Security number (unless you already have one).
(2) Apply for a Texas Driver's License (if you live in Texas and want to drive).
(3) If you have a job, give your employer your Social Security number. Here is Guidance for Employers published by USCIS.
If you don't have a job, you can use your Employment Authorization and your Social Security card to apply.
